Exactly a blend of the two Time and Tide collab beers it comprises of. White chocolate meets robust coffee straight up in the aroma. Underlying Black IPA bitterness marries the coffee undertones of both brews. You get accents of licorice and caramac. Smooth and stout-ish, crisp and sweet, the infamous "black and tan" put it in reverse is the new way of blending. Who knew the 2 collab brews, both heavily dosed with delicious rich roast coffee would bring out this fruity number?! Blasts of blackberry, red grape, currants and plum jump out in the aroma. Vine fruit flavours carry into the taste and muddle with soft, sweet licorice giving a delicious cordial of juicy Ribena. Dustings of cocoa richen the beer's profile and the coffee creeps out of this delicious blend.

Bottle shared at Chriso’s and Ruth pre GBBF shindig, August 5, 2017. Dark brown, not black but still brown. Smokey chilies in aroma. Aroma has really raw chillies . Taste is also raw chilli thing, coffee, bit nasty. Too much for me.

Keg at the Bottle Shop - London. Pours deep brown with a creamy, khaki head. The nose holds dark berries, toffee, coffee, well toasted malts. Medium to big sweet flavour with joes of chocolate cake, more sturdy roast, earthy bitterness, dried berries. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderately warming in the finish, with further coffee character, earth, bittersweet cocoa, more dried, dark berries. Not bad.

Keg at Bottle Shop. It pours darkest reddish - brown with a small off-white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, fruity, red cola, candy, sugary, cola, dried fruits, cocoa and earth. The taste is bitter, roasted malt, charred, bitter, quite light, earthy, toast, coffee grounds, dried fruits, dandelion and burdock and some alcohol heat with a drying and toasty finish. Medium + body and fine, foamy carbonation. A bit punchy like. Fair.
