IPA No. 12: Nelson & Mosaic

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: milky yellow to orangey cloudiness; one finger white foamy head which slid off at a nice pace to leave some light trickling lace
Aroma: lots of berries, noticeable blueberries; white grapes and some sweet grassy hoppy notes; mild biscuity malt base
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas together bittersweetly with a keen aftertaste of berries and white grapes
Texture: light to medium bodied, there's some sessionability to this one; some smoothness across the tongue; finishes semi-juicy and semi-crisp
Overall: pretty good IPA I could come back to.

(Can) Cloudy golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Hoppy nose with tropical fruit, passionfruit, melon, elderflower, white bread, grass and a touch of ginger. Hoppy, fruity taste with notes of passionfruit, Galia melon, kiwi, elderflower, honey, white bread and a gentle floral bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Fresh and juicy, with a good hop presence. Very nice.

Canned. Hazy yellow colour, small bubblyish foamy white head. Aroma is lactic, some wooden and not all too sweet fruity elements. Flvour is fruity, some earthy an hebral notes. Nicely balanced, but more a NEIPA than an IPA, and also not very fresh, though on the new beers list of Alko.

Can, 473 ml, date: 28 NOV 2019, purchased at LCBO - Richmond on 28 February 2020, with and at Sébastien Bertrand, savoured on 14 March 2020; eye: caramel with a milky hue, cloudy, no effervescence, ring of beige head, light lacing; nose: tropical fruits, pineapple, light malt, light pepper; mouth: tropical fruits, pineapple, light malt, light pepper, finale in pineapple with presence of pepper, medium body, good carbonation, mildly bitter, lightly sweet, slightly raspy texture; in summary: correct

Fruity and hoppy, bitter grapefruit with some peel, but overall smooth. Surprisingly good.

Quarantine Beer #064 sampled at home on 04/19/2020. Hazy straw-gold color with a medium white head that burns away steadily to a film. Sticky strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, herbal hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of pineapple, floral hops, grapefruit and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Smell of hops, spruce, overripe citrus. Cloudy yellow colour, high white head. Aroma of overripe fruit, citrus, hops. Pineapple in finish. Sweet with some bitterness. Flat carbon. OK-ish juicy IPA.

A light yellow and murky beer, a head is quite big and blond. Great aroma, juicy, mandarin, mango, papaiya. Taste has mango, red grapefruit, medium bitterness. Medium bodied. Nice juicyness, also bitterness, nice fruitness.

473ml can from Alko. Poured unclear golden in color, white head. Grapefruity aroma and flavor, good bitterness. Mild juiciness, citrusy hops, medium bodied, malty backbone. Not the freshest, but balanced and enjoyable to drink still.
