Enchanted Kristaps is a mixture. The first half is an oatmeal stout, that spent more than a year in a barrel with Brettanomyces, where it got the signature yeast notes and a bit of oak tannin. Before bottling, it was diluted by a specially brewed Cherry Witch berry ale with fresh cherries instead of cherry juice - this adds to the flavour pallet sour cherry notes that balance sharpness of Brettanomyces.

Bottle @ Seavans tasting. Kind of hazy dark ruby red, lots of pink foam there. Tart and funky nose, berry juice, farmhouse. Tastes berries, blueberry and lightly funky. Quite well balanced, funky tart and actually really interesting. Not a stout by any meaning but as a sour fruited ale, it kind of kicks ass.

Sampled draft @ TCBW 2018. Murgky ugly. Nose is rotting spoiled dark fruit. Taste is spoiled malt, rotting berries, leaves, murky malt, total mess really, expect more from Labietis.
