A good and fair sour beer, a bit rough at the beginning, perfect with the food on the balcony and it was welcomed with this hot weather and a generous note of passion fruit and a fair sourness, trying it on thursday at Epalinges, 21.05.2022

Well stored bottle. Almost clear pale golden body under a fading white head. Nice aroma of citric fruit, passion fruit, acidic lemon, minerals and smooth funk. Taste is quite smooth, mild acidic citric fruit, passion fruit, hint of wood, minerals, Brett, funk and traces of yoghurt. Balanced body with long lasting aftertaste. Very nice, refreshing and balanced indeed.

500ml bottle from Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear yellow straw colour with a fizzy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is yeast and passionfruit. The flavour is moderate to strong sour, with a light, crisp, bretty yeast, acidic, light herbal, tart lemon, passionfruit palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Tasty and refreshing, but not particularly refined in my opinion. As much as I love sour beers and Brett yeast, this was so tart and acidic that at times it was just a little too much. The acidity was so overpowering and masked any other flavours that might be trying to come through.

Bottle. Almost clear golden yellow, small and nonlasting white head. Soury vinous nose, some funky notes, some hints of fruit. Quite soury, vinous and funky. Some spices, just a hint of fruitiness, a bit sweet. Light body, fresh. Nicely drinkable, quite soury.

Bottle from Geers. Clear golden, small, frothy, white head. Aroma of passionfruit flesh, lemon peel, funky peach, unripe mandarin, wet wood, hay, vague cheese. Taste has sour passionfruit, lemon acid, lime, some end-of-stonefruit tartness, low wheaty, woody note somehwere too. Tart, fruity finish, more passionfruit blending well with funky 'foeder' woodiness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Very refreshing, fruit aspect shines well here.

500ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average to huge, fluffy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, snow-white head. Fruity, funky, mildly bretty, herbal-spicy yeasty aroma, hints of passion fruit, sage, some mustard seed, dill, old lemon peel, brine, woody overtones. Taste is tart-ish, tangy, herbal-spicy yeasty, minimally bretty, funky, slightly fruity, hints of passion fruit, some sage, dill, brine old lemon peel, a touch of lime. Minimally oily texture, smooth and soft, minimally astringent palate, fine, prickly carbonation. Well crafted and all - but somehow not really tickling my fancy. Feels like it needs just a little twist and I'd rate it on par with a Dry Hopped Saison Dupont or the like. Bummer!

Bottled 500ml. -from Craft Room Zagreb. Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, lively carbonation, brett and whiff of passionfruit in the nose. Quite tart fruity taste with notes of passionfruit and light citrus. Quite strong carbonation with rather dry and tart finish. There's better from OverWorks around.

Disappearing medium white head over veiled, greenish tinted yellow beer. Lemon, Brettanomyces and passion fruit aromas. Delicate, inviting nose. Also a whiff of diary - buttermilk or wey, maybe. Spicy, very specially peppered (Sichuan? Far Chiew?...), lemon, obvious Bretts - in quite a good way, no floormop. Again forceful and delicate at the same time. Passion fruit retronasal. Low carbonation. Bit slick, as from other grains (oats?), but all the same refreshing. Spicy, again very specially seasoned aftertaste. Love this!
