KAZOKU is a well-rounded, tart saison with Ontario-grown plums. The beer showcases notes of ripe plum and bright, pithy lemon, which is underpinned by a pleasant hay-like quality. Refined and delicate, this beer finishes with a morish carbonic snap and clean, lingering tartness that supports the fruit. Every year, friends and family of Godspeed Brewery travel to a beautiful farmland in the Niagara region to harvest those delectable plums with struggle and love.

Tap at Takanoya. Hazy, bright golden color with lace. Nose is plums, creamy yogurt, lemon. The flavor is very exciting with rich, deep tart plums, so nice and tangy with also a dense, light sweetness and chewiness. Creamy, citrusy, lovely flavor, and crisp and sparkling. Great stuff.

On tap at Godspeed, pours a cloudy bright golden with a small white head. Nose is loaded with gently tart plums, gentler sweetness, and rustic saison yeast. Flavour is very fruity, with lots of plums upfront, followed by rustic saison yeast. Very nice incorporation of the plums. Good stuff.
