Brewed again as part of their Legacy Series. Black with a tan head. Light roasted malts, a good chunk of hops that seem to exist mostly in the bitterness realm, earth, a bit of burnt malt, chocolate. Finish is long, dry and nicely bitter. Medium bodied. A real nice stout.

Thanks to JoeMcPhee for sharing - dark brown beer, with a nice ring of lace - smells hoppy/leafy, with a little coffee and cocoa underneath - quite hoppy, with some notes of tobacco behind it - a little bit of berry fruitiness in the background, and some light sweet cream flavor - a lot of chocolate starts to come through as it warms, as does some warming alcohol - a pretty nice stout.

Looks beautiful - jet black, loose tan head. Aroma is rich black malts, lots of grapefruit hops...reminiscent of St A. Sweetish flavour, but again with lots of citrusy hops, along with silky chocolate, light Vietnamese coffee. Gets a bit thin as it warms, but that’s about the only fault I could find. A lot like St A, only "foreign"-strength and obviously not made with Ringwood.

On Tap at BrewPub. Pours out a pitch black topped with a cream tan head. Aroma of roast malt and light hops. Tast pretty nice. I was looking for something a little thicker. Not bad
