Deep copper. Sweet candied malts, citrus hop notes. Not much going on here, really. It’s an ultra sweet double IPA. It’s a dime a dozen.

Draft at the Collective version of Hop Mob Roadshow. Listed as a triple IPA, and everything else lines up. Unique appearance to an imperial IPA, which is a bit of a plus for some reason. Cloudy yellow pour with a ton of sediment. Wonderful citrus aroma. Flavor is cool, clean, citusy. Top of the line triple here. Loved it.

Bottle from Total Wine, Lynnwood
Cloudy orange to light amber color; the head is too large, invasive, fluffy. Aroma of hops, but it’s also fairly mineral, and a suspicion of infection. Strong beer, a bitter Ale, with light residual sweetness, bitter oranges, and a metallic, woody character that confirms the infection.
Rough, almost drinkable but fundamentally wrong.

22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a medium white head. Aroma is on the maltier side, with huge juicy resinous hops and a whopping caramel malt backing. Flavour is thankfully not on the maltier side, but it is treading into "too hoppy" territory surprisingly -- the hops are extremely astringent. There is some bitter grapefruit rind in there as well, magnifying the bitterness. This is only for extreme hopheads. Nothing subtle about this. Cool extreme experiment that is somehow drinkable to me, though this is excessively bitter.
