Black with a beige head. Noticeable raspberry in the aroma but somewhat overpowered by the stout and barrel notes. Medium bodied. It’s a different story when we get to the flavor. That raspberry is full frontal. Raspberry, light roasted malts, some bourbon, light chocolate. Raspberry is the main player. Very tasty if you like the tartness of the berries with chocolate. It gets a bit much after a whole bottle but it’s still very nice.
