A Strong Ale spiced with all kinds of goodies. Our favourite feisty diva Madame Jeanette is present again, along with seasonings as Lapsang Souchong tea, ginger, star anise and honey. The collab is one of the re-runs of previous collaborations Marble Brewery engaged in during their existence. With all new beers of course. Good, Bad & Ugly is the one that was brewed at our place! The brewers also brewed at Kees and in Manchester at Marble's. All to celebrate the 20th birthday of Marble Brewery this November 2017. Hoppy birthday!

From tap at Bierfestival Groningen 2018. Aroms is lots of light smokey Lapsang tea, anise, very spicy, soft ginger, malt, light chili, reminds of 'christmas spices'. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is above medium. It's a little spicier than I like, but I think it works fairly well in this beer.

Tap at het Klooster, Delft: Hazy brown colored brew with an dry bitter taste and then some pepper kicks in. Hints of herbs, spices and mostly ginger but don't forget the smoked. Bamberg meets an Mexican dish with chilipepers.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Dominant lapsang souchong tead in the spicy, soft caramelly aroma. Malty sweet caramelly spicy flavor with dominant lapsang souchong. Alcoholic. Not my cup of tea.

Draft. A dark amber beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of spices, tea, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of tea, spices, malt, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish. Not a big fan of tea in my beer.

Aus der Flasche (bottled 13.10.2017 / bbe 13.10.2019) im 2018-09 getrunken. "Bad and Ugly" passt auf dieses schräge, dunkle Bier sehr gut. Die Zutaten von Honig, Lapsang Souchong Tee, Ingwer, Sternanis, Chilischoten bringen schon eine wirklich schräge und kaum beschreibare Aromakombination ins Glas. Es hat was malziges und was muffiges, aber richtig Spaß macht dieses - ich sag mal - interessante Bier nicht wirklich.

On tap at Pivoteka Zagreb. Red/brown coloured, medium sized creamy beige head, spices and speculoos in the nose. Sweet malty, heavy spicy (speculoos and anise), touch of smoke and a bit too sweet overall but good in general. Alcohol well hidden.
