A Strong Ale spiced with all kinds of goodies. Our favourite feisty diva Madame Jeanette is present again, along with seasonings as Lapsang Souchong tea, ginger, star anise and honey. The collab is one of the re-runs of previous collaborations Marble Brewery engaged in during their existence. With all new beers of course. Good, Bad & Ugly is the one that was brewed at our place! The brewers also brewed at Kees and in Manchester at Marble's. All to celebrate the 20th birthday of Marble Brewery this November 2017. Hoppy birthday!

330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie. Pours a deep amber, medium off-white head. Spiced Christmas pudding nose. Taste presents a smooth, malt body with just enough of each ingredient joining together impeccably well with an unusual, but welcome, hint of smoke from the lapsang tea. Very good spiced winter beer.

Bottle from the Beer Cave, Dalry Rd , Edinburgh. Appearance - Nose - dried fruit and tea. Ginger for sure! A bit like tamarind actually. Taste - oh, smoke and tea. Palate - close to medium bodied. Complex and long. Overall - the taste is a lot more agreeable than the nose for me. This grew on me a lot.

Bottle thanks to Ashton McCobb. Pours clear brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of smoke and chilli, demerara sugar. Taste is sweet, ginger, getting a bit of the star anise. Surprisingly drinkable!
