A standard blonde ale. Clean and crisp with light cereal grain and mild sweetness. A bit of earthy hops in the finish. Solid.

12oz can poured into keg shaped glass. Canned on 3/15/16, 2 weeks old, so pretty damn fresh. There is no discernible hop presence on nose or flavor. Malts dominate with light oat-like flavors. On the nose, the malts are pretty husky and dusty. Ends with a cut straw flavor. Its very decent for a malty, under 5 abv, blonde ale. I would like a completely different beer, something lighter, crisper, and less malty. But this is fine for what it is.

Draught at the brewpub
Pale blond color. Aroma and flavor are very light; the mouthfeel is expectedly dry; ordinary bitterness; it doesn’t have malt or hop qualities.
Ale or Lager, this is uninteresting.

Bomber from Total Wine, Norfolk, VA, opened 7/19/11. Pours a hazy amber color with a thin creamy white head. Grainy aroma with nutty notes and herbal hops. The taste is toasted malts, vanilla and an herbal hop finish. Medium bodied.

Whole fresh orange and lemon nose. Hazy yellow, medium white head. Aroma is sweet but it drinks quite dry with light malt flavor. Finishes grainier with a definite citrus character, lemongrass and lemonzest discernible. Ideal as a summer seasonal, quite refreshing, somewhat flavorful, immensely quaffable. Well crafted session beer!

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours orangish gold with a small foamy white head. Kind of a noble hop aroma with perhaps a bit of citrus. Medium minus body. Firm carbonation. Flavor starts with a suggestion of diacetyl. Getting past that it’s mildly malty and rather grassy. Seems ok, but maybe it got rushed? The diacetyl suggestion isn’t really helpful.
