Brown with an off white head - Roasted malt aroma - Roasted malt body with some notes of caramel and some hops in the back - The malt goes into the finish with some caramel and hop bitterness - This was good

Medium brown and a tan head. Roasty and toasty malt profile with light cocoa and a fair amount of hops to hold it together. A bit of a roasted coffe finish but that turns back to hops making for a bitter completion. I liked it but it is closer to one of those Black IPAs than a brown, IMO.

On my first flight of the day at Pizza Port, Carlsbad: 27th May 2015. Deep brown body. tanned head. Semi-sweet malts rule the nose and taste, some lightly toasted brown bread esters in the aroma to even out the sweetness in the taste a little. Not as Shagadelic as Austin Powers would have liked!

Keg at PP Carlsbad, 21/04/14. Dark chestnut brown with a moderate light tan covering that stays for the show. Nose is dark malts, light perfumed tones, brown sugar rush, light cocoa. Taste comprises brown bread, earthy notes, hint of spice, mineral note. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok for a brown.
