Aromas and flavors are basic apple cider, yeast and a bit medicinal. Okay body and carbonation. Drinkable and nothing more.

Can from Press, no Shelton sticker. Pint glass @home. Medium gold, quite clear, serious almond soda head. Smells very gamey & earthy initially. Like sniffing French cider in a newly planted field; apple mulch & fresh fertilizer. After that passes it's earthy-sharp, macerated, sweet, slurried apples & really wet mulch. Taste is earth, big Dabinett leather, farmhouse, thick-skinned honey-sharp apples, dirty chitlins, sweet baby Aspirin. Very English with some pinches of acid. Confusingly sweet. Thin body, lingering acid, dusty residual, medium high heat, sulfite headache. Okay-ish.

Poured at Shelton Festival, yellow gold with no head. The aroma is oak, apple skin, floral. Thin body, tart apple, oak, crisp finish, very good.

Batch #1 @ Hashigo Zake. Slightly hazy golden with a light white head. Tart apple, dry, slightly sweet. Green apple sour note on the back with a nice tart finish. Full bodied for a cider with plenty of carbonation. Very good. Would love more ciders like this.
