12 ounce bottle, 9/29/16. Clear amber, thin head, fair retention. Aroma of toasted malt, caramal and a hint of floral hops. The taste is toasted malt, graham cracker, strawberry, earthy hops. Thin-medium bodied. Solid.

Cloudy Amber Color, Huge Frothy Head, Decent Lacing. Mild Hop Aroma. Lightly Toasted Malt, Light Hops at The End. Leaves Sour Aftertaste. Drinkable but nothing too good or memorable. Average At Best. Pass It...

Lightly hazy copper - frothy lace - nose of toasted grains, light mineral, lightly earthy malt, mildly leafy hops - flavor is dry, biscuity, toasty, with a mild touch of buttered toast - low carbonation - toasty finish with light mineral - decent - would like to try on cask.

Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a thin yellowish head. The aroma has notes of wet hay, spicy hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and wet hay, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

12oz bottle. Despite having had this numerous times previously, I have yet to it. Here goes..Filtered orange-tan. Thin, oily white head. Pleasant malt aroma, some earthy hops and caramel. Kind of an odd Sconnie version of an English Ale. Fruity yeast tones, medium body, some butterscotch. Not really true to style in my opinion, but fairly drinkable. Decent balance, but the Ringwood (?) is a little overstated.

Deep bronze in color. Malty, light earthy hops, sweet aroma. Flavor is much the same and just doesn’t seem inspired. Medium bodied. Not bad, but infinitely boring.

12 oz.bottle. $1.50 loose @Woodman’s. Light hop smell, but powerful enough to waft over from arm’s length. Same light hop smell up close. Light auburn beer, some unfiltered bits floating around. First thing I taste is some over-carbonation. Malts taste kind of old. No date on the bottle, but I did get this in January. And it’s made by Sand Creek, which sometimes misses the mark, but doesn’t usually show this kind of problem.

for a light colored beer, this stuff sure smells chocolatey! slightly darker than a pale lager and a little on the hay colored side. Nice and smooth and rather malty, just like the aroma. Not a whole lotta bitterness but just enough to let you know its beer. Friendly, for the most part and seems to be more refined than many of the american english pale ales I’ve tasted. Overall, a decent beer and its rather well behaved. Finish is malty beer that is not over the top nor excessive, OK beer experience. Rates right up there with other EPA I find interesting such as Paper City Holyoke Dam Ale, Gearys Pale, Arcadia Anglers Ale & Odell 5 Barrel Pale Ale

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured an orange-amber color with a medium sized soapy beige head that produced great lacing. The aroma was sweetish and malty with light fruity hops - a bit mild but pleasant. The flavor was nutty with notes of caramel, biscuit and fruity hops. Medium length finish with notes of caramel and fruit lingering. Medium body. Pleasant.
