Pilsner has evolved.Weve taken a well known work horse and added hops. A lot of hops. Crisp, clean, and golden, this ambitiously dry hopped lager left old school pilsner at the station, did his wife, stole his bible and made him thank him for it.

Unclear, yellow colored, medium- white head. Aroma is of malt, bit grain, some hoppy notes, floral fruity, but seem dated. Taste is medium sweet malt, caramel, light grain, bit buttery, medium- floral and fruity hops, medium bitterness, dryish finish. Medium- bodied, soft carbonation, bit watery.

330 ml can, from Meny Hundvåg. ABV is 4.5%. Golden colour, moderate white head. The aroma has notes of fruity yeast and citrussy hops, also spicy / herbal hops. The flavour has also notes of citrussy hops, follwed by stale jam and dust in the finish.

330 ml. can @ home. Appears to have been canned on 23.08.2017. Nice. Clear mainstream lager amber, unstable white head. Nose is big sweet flowers, corn & chamomile, almost vague Danish pastry sweet, oily but fair amount of sweet flower oil & powdery sugar. Fine carbonation. Oily bodied and taste, big flowers, camomile tea, oily sweet corn flowers, nothing poor vegetable, pleasantly oily cornbread & camomile flowers. Hop is very low especially looking at it from a modern specialty beer perspective. Some pasty sugar. It is quite satisfying with good camomile, oily, cornbread, not what I expected but quite pleasant. No poor vegetables, pleasant oily sweet, rather enjoyed it despite expectation. I wouldn't call this one a IPL.

Canned, from Coop, Kaupanger. Clear golden, mid sized head. Fruity nose with some mango. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Relatively generic with mango and grass. Mid bitter finish. Modern, competently made stuff. Just soulless and following a formula, relying on marketing to sell it to people that don’t really care all that much about beer. Oh well, this review tells more about the global state of craft beer, then the actually pretty decent beer I’m actually drinking and reviewing right now.

Draught at Bryggerifestivalen 2017. Shared with Finn. A white head blanketing the upper part of the glass. Misty golden body. Restrained smell of herbal hops and mango. Hop fruity flavours with moments of pineapple and mango on a backbone of pale malts. Mid-sweet fruity ending. Refreshing. (Trondheim 04.08.2017).
