Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy dark amber colored brew with an sweet bitter taste, hints of caramel, applesauce and spices. I miss the charging cavalry on the label in Christmas attire.

33cl bottle; BB 27 Jan 2021. Drank in my hotel room in Brugge on 2nd Feb 2020. Misty dark Amber body, beige blanket of foam on top. Malty with a fairly sweet front, my sweet tooth took to it, but overall it's a bit one dimensional with the malty molasses ruling everything.

Bottle from LDW, Eke. Murky brown colour, beige foam. Nose of sweet malts, light bitter, some earthiness. Unbalanced. Not very nice.

Flesje thuis gedronken.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, deep amber with an off-white head. Sweet, fruity nose - peaches? Medium body, somewhat stingy carbonation. Sweet and again fruity, but now more overripe fruit. Very subdued bitterness. Carbonation gets a little much eventually. But at least not overly yeasty. 260219

11 January 2019. At Cambrinus, Bruges. Shared with the lovely Anke. Pours hazy amber to brownish with a big, lasting, foamy, tan head; lots of lacing. Aroma of wheat, dark honey, citrus, candi sugar, orange peel, white pepper, toasted white bread, plastic (esp. when warming up). Taste is light to medium wheaty sour, some lemon zest, faintly fruity with apple & pear; light sugary sweet middle has candi sugar & caramel, some bread, weird note of chloride, even more when warming up. Dryish, wheaty finish, lingering brown sugar, faintly grassy hoppy. Medium body, slick/syrupy texture, soft carbonation. Very weird overall.

Tap at Bourgogne des Flandres. Hazy straw with white head. Slightly floral and spicy with bubblegum, wheat bread and orange peel. Nothing out of the ordinary, but nice to drink.

Sampled @ Kerstbierfestival VandeOirsprong. Hazy light reddish color, average sized white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, a bit sweet, lightly herbs or spices. Some (Dutch) "appelmoes". Not a lot of flavor imo. Meh.
