bottle thanks to muckjoe! Pours a murky redish brown with a medium tan head. Brown sugar and maple syrup nose with some chocolate malt seeping through. Sweet and mildly tart with sour cherry and a sweet carmel malt ends bittersweet with more brown sugar. Nice brew, thanks again Joe!

22oz Bottle Pours out a nice drown topped with a small off white head. a Nice aroma of sweet, spice and yeast. A pretty nice and spicy tast like a spice brew. I think it is pretty good. Thanks SS.

Bottle... Label is kind of fun. Pours a dark brown with a finger or so of head that dies back very quickly. Aromas are of dark fruit, candi sugar and a touch of maybe some anise. Flavor is a nice mix of the above that comes off as well crafted and nicely balanced and complex enough for my tastes.

Thanks to OhioDad for this one. A firm, creamy, tan head easily forms over this deep brown, ruby tinged body. Forms a beautiful lace as well. Dark caramel aroma with dark fruits suggestive of prunes. The flavor is sweet overall with a firm bitterness underneath. Smmoth coating and slick mouthfeel. As this warms, the bitterness fades and some additional complexities devlop and the palate continues to smooth out. Nice one.

medium brown in color with little head on top. Aroma of malts and spices. Tastes of earthy spices, malts and slight fruitiness along with little hop flavor as well. Small bitterness in the finish.

2002 Bottle: Thanks to alcfron to sending me 22oz of holiday joy! First of all this is the first ever beer I have had that had a wax-sealed top. How cool is that? Dark copper color with a thin light beige head. Sediment left in the bottle. I am flabbergasted that they add no spice to this beer, as the aroma is a spiced mix of clove, corriander and burnt orange. Both the flavor and texture are a rich blend of sweet malt, spices, and fruits. This is a great addition to the grand tradition of holiday brews.
