0,5l bottle at home bought from De Bierliefhebber. BB 03/2021. black color, small coffee colored head. smells of cinnamon, specoloos, doughy, spices, very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, oily mouthfeel. tastes of cinnamon, honey. specoloos, xmas spices, cloves, light coconut, bit peppery, nutty. bitter chocolate, fudgy. finishes lightly roasty bitter with notes of specoloos, cloves and bitter chocolate. lovely, not overly sweet, bit heavy on the specoloos, but overall very nice stout.

Pitch black pour with a dark espresso head with poor retention. Notes of chocolate, licorice, roasted malt, anise seed, cinnamon, cloves, mint. A bit unbalanced, but not bad.

Thnx to Flavio ! Pours black, no real head. Smell is full, bit of cinnamon. Taste is full, bit roasty. Cinnamon, walnuts (green ) . No real honey ( if that should be in there in the first place ? ) the green walnut aroma ( i mean the herbal, stinking aroma of the green shells around walnuts, as well as the flower's scent ) intensifies as the beer warms. Very unpleasant character that finnally makes the beer undrinkable to me, whilst it started of as an OK beer.
