330ml can at School of Animals, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a murky reddish amber colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is grainy malt and caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a rich, bready, red berry fruit, light floral, woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Baeren The Day Innovation Red Lager 5.5% Clear reddish brown with a biscuit tobacco caramel aroma. The smooth medium to full body is nice and the rocky beige head that didn’t linger was impressive enough. The taste is toasty biscuit caramel but with a bit of bitter treacle in the aftertaste. Alright but I know Baeren can do better.
