Thanks for sharing! Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ Kerstbierfestival 2017. Golden, creamy white head. Nose is vegetable oil all the way, corn, flowers, unpleasant vegetable. Taste is chemical, unpleasant vegetable oil, esters, green apple,… Thick vegetable oil body,… Quite unpleasant.

At Nationale Bierhappening in Zottegem. Stronger, spiced and apparently less hoppy version of their tripel, with coarse, egg-white, 'papery' lacing, thick and frothy head and misty peach blonde robe with ochre-ish hue. Aroma of white cardemom (actually used here), very strong but not unpleasant, even to a somewhat aniseed-like effect, next to the ordinary tripel features of banana, bubblegum, white bread, dried flowers, pear. Spritzy onset, fiercely carbonated, lots of banana ester and residual white sugary sweetness, ripe pear accent, minerally notes from the carbonation; full, rounded, bready malt body, honeyish due to the sugars, very strong retronasal 'ethereal' cardemom spiciness, mild spicy hop bitterish touch, lingering banana, phenolic cloves and a warming afterglow of gin-like alcohol, but not too wry. Quite alright, no technical flaws here, but you have to like sweet, boozy and very spicy tripels.

F: nice white long lasting. C: pale gold hazy. A: malt, grassy hops, honey, toffee, yeast, spice. T: Zottegem beer fest 10/10/15, 0,33l bottle, malt, spice, coriander, peppery, alcohol, honey sweet, hint of lemon/orange, some bitterness on the palate, full body, average carbonation, winter beer but too sweet I think.
