Draught. Hazy orangeish golden colour with a minor white head. Aroma is mostly peat with some mild rubbery tones. Flavour is a strange combination of fruits, some yeast and a big bunch of peat. It's rare that I say it, but too peated for it's own good.

Pours clear, yellow, no real head. Smell is pure peat, tadte is bit bitter, very peated, but still balanced in a way. Never my favorite taste, or style, but well made nevertheless.

Thanks for sharing! Sampled draft @ Kerstbierfestival 2017. Golden, little head. Nose is pure medicinal iodine, peat, hospital, disinfectant,… Low watery chemical iodine, industrial hospital, peated, medicinal, watery,…. Not my thing reminds me of previous Den Triest beers like “Tripel Oak Aged Laphroaig Quarter Cask”, “Golden Smoke Trippel” & “WBF's Winter Warmer Tripel (2014)” for which I didn’t care either.
