Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style X3). Bottle 33cl - Batch L050165 (BBF: NOV 2018). AROMA: medium-low red fruits aroma (strawberries, blueberry) and red wine, with a medium-low malty-sweet background. slight sulphury note. APPEARANCE: red ambar color and just slightly hazy, medium light pink color with medium low retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-low red fruits (strawberries), slightly sulphury and medium-low malty-sweet background. medium to medium-high bitterness with a dry finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium-high carbonation. OVERALL: a good red grape ale.

330 ml. bottle sampled @ Cerveteca Lisboa. Dark red. Nose is massively extremely vinous to the max. taste is vinous to the max, basically Portuguese wine with some malt presence, thick red grape, lingering skin finish. Interesting & tasty hybrid that goes very heavy to the wine side of things.
