Draught @ Mikkeller Bar, København
Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, aquavite and alcohol. Taste is heavy sweet and medium bitter with a long warm, roasted, chocolate, vanilla, cocoa and aquavite finsih. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

(On tap @ Mikkeller Viktoriagade, May 12/18 - kindly shared as a road beer by Nische, cheers!) Pours black, head gone by the time I crossed paths with it. Notes of brown sugar and toffee, chocolate, moderate roast, quite some wood, some berry fruit hints, liquorice and aquavit spices are present but balanced, touch of conifer needle, soft balanced spirit heat. Full bodied, softly carbonated. Very nice use of barrel, aquavit is hit and miss for me but this nailed it. Another very solid Cycle stout.

[5/11/18] Draught at Mikkeller Bar Viktoriagade in Copenhagen. Black, brown foam. Dark chocolate, vanilla, roast, sweet, fruity notes, some alcohol, full-bodied.

Tap at Mikkeller Viktoriagade. Pitch black with a brown head. Dark chocolate, wood, toffee, warming alcohol, liquorice. Not as Aquavit forward as I expected, which is very good.

Nice slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head, deep dark pour. Aroma is slightly sweet sour-ish, dark sugar, dark malts, chocolate, spices, alcohol, oak, licorice, grass, hay, minerals, hints of aquavit. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, dark malts, oak, minerals, grass, spices, dark sugar, chocolate, hay, bark, weeds, alcohol. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Nice enough.

Mikk Vic. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth dark malts, little dark chocolate. Fruity aquavit nicely integrated. Smooth finish. Light choccy liquered fruits. Yeah - nice, pretty crushable.
