Mellow and sweet with a french accent. Just like honey. A velvety amber sigh. The perfect companion for long breaks, fireplaces and vintage wooden corner bars.Dubbel, ma belle.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 26B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L45C11 (JUN.18). AROMA: medium caramel-like malt aroma with slight notes of toast and esters (banana/apple), followed by almost solventy character if the beer is swirled. APPEARANCE: dark ambar color and clear. no head. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-low malt flavor (toasted and slight toffee), medium-low esters (banana and roasted apple-.like). medium bitterness with a dry finish. PALATE: medium-low body with very low carbonation. OVERALL: an ok dubbel but where the lack of carbonation affects the perception of body.
