Bottle from Burg Bieren, Ermelo. Aroma is coffee beans, dark malt, roast, coffee grounds, caramel, and liquorice. Flavour is fairly sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Body is above medium, alcohol being covered well. Yum, lots of coffee, good stuff.

330 ml bottle. Pours black with short head. Aromas of stale black coffee, dusty dark chocolate and roasted malts. Flavors follow same with emphasis on coffee. Kinda light, but clean coffee beer. Holding up nicely from 2017.

330mL bottle at R5 Micro Bar, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma exudes intense, dark roasted coffee, with liquid dark cocoa and light roasted malt. Flavour is heavy on the coffee upfront, followed by liquid dark cocoa accentuating this. Low residual sugars, wine a roasty coffee finish. Excellent.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Borg Surtur Nr. 47 - 2017 ].Clear dark black colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, roasted, alcohol, moderate chocolate, moderate coffee, earthy notes, light smoke, vegetable notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, wood, dark malt, roasted, moderate coffee, moderate chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20180619] 7-4-7-4-15

Bottle @ home shared by TomHendriksen. Opaque pitch black color, average sized brown colored head that diminishes relatively quickly. Aroma is malts, dark malts, roasted malts, heavy espresso, almost a bit vegetal green coffee. Flavor is similar: malts, roasted malts and heavy coffee / espresso with some dusty dark chocolate. Nice!

Bottle courtesy of Leg, spaseeba! Almost black, dark brown head. Aroma of licorice and dark coffee with an edge of smoke. Taste is rich, lightly smoky dark roast coffee. very nice.

Bouteille 330ml. Couleur noire opaque, mousse moka. Arôme de café plutôt vert (presque poivron vert), cacao, malt torréfié. Goût de café, légère acidité, malt torréfié, infime amertume. Carbonatation moyenne-faible, corps moyen-dense.

Flesje gedeeld door Tomhendriksen en gedronken met Benzai. Zwart bier met beige schuim dat snel weg trekt. Aroma van koffie en kuilvoeder. Smaak is zoet en fruitig van donker fruit en nasmaak van hop.
