Bouteille 341ml. Couleur bronze laissant filtrer la lumière, imposante mousse beige aérée. Arôme métallique (qui s'estompe en aérant), malt caramélisé, fruits foncés, cassonade, légèrement oxydé. Goût de malt caramélisé, légèrement herbacé, âcre. Carbonatation très élevée, corps moyen.

Bottled, from Broue Ha Ha, Gatineau. Clear copper colour, small head.Fruity nose with some toast and grass. Mid sweet with light body and clean mouthfeel. Toast and burnt sugar, ripe fruit, notes of peat and grass. Fairly low bitterness.

Nez de faible puissance dégageant à peine quelques notes de boisé et de terre. De couleur ambrée / cuivrée, très claire avec une mousse d’épaisseur moyenne qui s’efface assez rapidement. Les houblons terreux et boisés dégagent une amertume franche et assez persistante en attaque. Les accents sont d’écorce de bois et de terre humide, surtout en arrière gout. Je cherche les saveurs maltées. Et, de lassitude, je finis par céder pour un peu de toasté. L’action se passe surtout au niveau des houblons, mais sans grande conviction. Assez ordinaire.

Bottle: Poured a clear amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of light cereal notes is somewhat bland. Taste is also dominated by bland cereal notes with little else to report. Body is thin with low carbonation. Not the most interesting style to being with and not the most interesting interpretation.
