Barrel Aged version – A full-bodied, decadently smooth coffee beer in collaboration with local roaster Dark Woods. 7 different malts combine with 7 different coffees added at 3 different points during the brew to create a sweet toffee, rich fruit and chocolate depth, accented with notes of vanilla, and hazelnut. A coffee beer designed with texture, aroma and deliciousness in mind, brewed to celebrate locality and a shared philosophy in creative quality.

29 November 2019. At Billie's Craft Beer Fest. Cheers to the lovely Anke, tderoeck, 77ships & Ghent beer crew! Cloudy black, lasting, thick, beige head. Aroma of coffee ground, mocha, fondant, earth, walnut shell, wood, vanilla. Taste has sweet chocolate, nuts, mocha, a bit creamy, bitter cocoa nibs & coffee ground; dry, earthy hoppy finish, woody, nutty, still creamy too, with a hint of warming coffee liqueur. Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Full & tasty.

From tap at MBCC 2017. Black color with beige brown head. Roasted malty aroma, coffee, licorice, caramel, chocolate. Moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

(Thank you!) Sampled draft @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2017. Black, mocha head. Nose is nice extremely heavy on good roasted coffee. Taste is bitter grainy heavy roasted coffee, low plastic, nice coffee explosion, sugar, little barrel. Thick grainy, nice coffee beer, neat.
