very hazy pale yellow colour, moderate sized off-white head, which collapses quickly; aroma and taste of pineapple, some orange zesty and piney notes, some lactic acid and slight vanilla notes; 3.28 as rating?!? seriously?...do'h!

Pours a hazy golden colour with an orange hue. The head is bubbly, foamy, soapy and does last a bit, leaving some spotted lacing. Grassy hop nose with some mild vanilla and lactose sweetness blending things. The citrus notes do come out in the middle eventually. The taste shows the bitterness at first, again, but does not rise too much. Instead, it has a quicker finish with some light citrus on the tongue. The vanilla and lactose are even lighter, so not much showing in the taste. Just smoothening out things. If you do not like your Milkshake IPAs too sweet, too rich - this is for you.

Can: Poured a slightly hazy yellow color ale with a large foamy head with OK retention and some light lacing. Aroma of sweet vanilla notes is quite dominant with light floral notes also noticeable. Taste is dominated by overly sweet notes of vanilla with some floral undertones. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Not very enjoyable with too much residual sugar notes and vanilla notes ended up being too powerful.

A milky yellow ipa with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with flowery hops, light vanilla, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with light vanilla, light powdery character, pleasant. On tap at Festibière de Gatineau été 2018.
