Harricana 25 Stout Festif 2017 10.5% A deep inky blank pour with a thin but dense rusty head of foam leaves some Belgian lace around the glass. An aroma of soy sauce, Umano, dark chocolate, some roadtedness and spices. The taste is a spicy bubblegum, it reminds me of some cardamom gum I got in Doha. Full bodied with s prickly carbonation and a flavor they matches the aroma with the additions of acrid black patent malt and spices continuing to kick in as it warms. It went well with chocolate cake but would go even better with ice cream I think...

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with nice black chocolate notes with warming rum notes is quite enticing. Taste is a great mix between some creamy black chocolate notes with some light roasted malt with some nice warming rum notes with nice light vanilla notes. Body is full with nice creamy texture and good carbonation with no strong apparent alcohol notes. World-class level stout and something I wish I good have on a regular basis.

Bouteille 500ml. Couleur noire opaque, mousse moka foncée laissant une dentelle éparse. Arôme de seigle, fruité, pointe d'épices, alcool, menthe poivrée. Goût de malt torréfié, chocolat noir, côté fruité, seigle, légère amertume. Carbonatation moyenne, corps dense, plutôt lourd.
