Bouteille. Nez de maïs, un peu malté. Goût léger de malt lors de l’entrée en bouche suivi d’un petit goût sucré (genre miel). Arrière-goût très court léger sucré et un minimum de houblon. [notes 2005]

Tastes aight for a lager. Shit, better than our typical big biz Canadian trash. Some grain taste up in this muthafuka. Big boo-tay.

Originally rated May 2005. This is another lager that is easy to get around here, and that I buy from time to time. It pours a golden colour with underpar carbonation. The head doesn’t stay long, and the lacing is minimal. It smells bitter and slightly malty. The taste is a bit bitter with a smooth cereal finish. Decent lager, but prefer the Sleeman Silver Creek lager (reviewed also tonight).

431ml bottle bought in Montreal. Straw coloured with a ring of white head; malty aroma; flavour is also malty and slightly sweet with oak and vanilla notes; there’s a short burst of bitterness floowed by a sweet and sticky finish. A nice blonde style beer.
