A dark reddish brown ale with a thin no head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, ok. In mouth, sweet caramel malt with light butterscotch, light mineral notes, light soy, pleasant. Can at brewery.

Smaller 355ml can from the brewery on my first visit. Cola-looking brown colour with a beige head, average stay and some dirty tiny-spot lacing. Aromas of dark fruits over roasted malts and hints of vanilla at first. Some nuttiness comes out with hints of brown sugars. The taste has a balance of these, making the dark malts softer with some light sweetness, but not too much. And not syrupy. Maybe some notes of grapes and maple syrup. Apples as well. So, lots going one, but well-blended - seems like a lower alcohol Scotch Ale. But no. My favourite so far.

Canette 473ml, gracieuseté de SebD lors du CanBIF Spring 2016, Thanks Sébastien! Couleur brune très foncée opaque, mousse moka pâle laissant un anneau sur les parois du verre. Arôme de malt caramélisé, mélasse, fenouil?, quelque chose de"off" que je n’arrive pas à identifier. Goût de malt caramélisé, figue séchée, légère amertume, soupçon de café, malt torréfié, touche d’alcool, sucrée. Carbonatation moyenne-élevée, corps moyen.
