On tap at the brewpub.
Nitro tap i believe.
Jet black pour, light roasted malts, very light hops, with some bitter cocoa. Light mouthfeel, very dry finish with a lingering roastiness. Pretty middle of the road.

Sampled at 2017 summer Festibière in Gatineau. Listed as an oatmeal stout with 30 IBU. Pours a very dark brown colour with a mocha-beige head. Roasted malt taste with lots of roastiness. Roasty nose with hints of molasses, coffee and chocolate. The mouthfeel finishes with a nice dryness from the hops, with light bitterness. Not sure about the oatmeal in this one, as just seems like a normal stout with some hops.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy but stable tan head. Clear aroma of roast, with notes of malt and touches of yeast. Bitter, roasty flavour with sweetish notes of malt and caramel and touches of dark chcocolate. Bitter, roasty aftertaste with hints of coffee and yeast. A well-balanced and quite enjoyable Stout.

Black with ok lacing, no head. Some roast malt, light coffee. A little musk in aroma. Finishes bitter. Ok but I think their brown Armada is much better, especially given the style. On tap at brewpub.

On tap at Benelux, pours black with an amber tinge and a small tan / light brown head - nice lacing. Aroma of mild roast character, slight burnt rubber notes and tar. Flavour is quite metallic, with prominent burnt / roasted notes, rubber and tar again. Rather thin and metallic mouthfeel. Drinkable, but off the mark.

A deep dark stout with a thin lacing moka head. A good bitter chocolate with roasted coffee beans, very nice. In mouth, a light stout with the typical roasted coffee, burned toast, bitter chocolate, a bit on the lighter side, without defaults. On tap at BP Aug. 12, 2006.
