A golden ipa with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light grassy hops, light butterscotch, OK. In mouth, sweet caramel malt with diacetyl, buttery notes, light cereals, light grassy hops, so-so. Can at brewery

Pours a clean enough golden-amber colour with a nice frothy-creamy warm cap, good stay and creamy lacing. Not the nose I was hoping from an IPA at first with the diacetyl popcorn butterscotch aroma. The hops are trying to come through. Same for taste - too much caramel with the grassy hops trying to pierce through it. At least the hops do lingers over the butterscotchy feel. Gets a little better as it breathes, but still cannot get pass diacetyl in an IPA. Seems like I am the only one to have gotten this as well. Inconsistent :(
