A DIPA collaboration with our friends from Brooklyn, Other Half Brewing. Along with our pale malt Golden Promise, the beer uses a reasonably large percentage of oats in the mash for a creamy body and soft mouthfeel.
A low bitterness target (for a DIPA) of around 60IBU was aimed for and Citra, Mosaic & Denali hops added to the whirlpool for loads of tropical/citrus flavour. We went heavy on the dry hopping with lots more Citra and Mosaic as well as some Simcoe, Amarillo & HBC 438. The finished beer has a really punchy aroma as well as a super juicy fruit like flavour and soft mouthfeel.

Burk Oliver Twist. Yepp

Can bought @ Beer Gonzo. Deep tiny burnt yellow pour with a small creamy offwhite head. Pure papaya juice nose with light supporting tangerine & grass. Sweet, slightly bitter, fruity & grassy taste. Soft, round, tiny astringent & tiny boost mouthfeel. Heavy fruity with just enough grassy bitterness to make it interesting. Tad sweet but very very good!

Can. Pours hazy amber. Aroma is strong tropical fruit, onion, sweat socks, passion fruit. Body is juicy, chewy, sweet and heavy. Quite some onion. Extreme, in many ways, a bit too much. Good, but not really balanced.

Small white rim, yellow-orange beer. Insectoid, aroma, leafy, three shoots. Bit cheesy, green leaves, grass, citrus. Finish is harsh-resiny, bitter. Medium bodied, quite slick. Overly bitter and certainly not very subtle. 6/4/7/3/14

Lata 50 cl de Vivalabirra tomada en Villaobispo 14..11..2017. Lote 1382 fcpref 02.. 11..2017. (r77). Amargo final verde resinoso persistente. Densa y espumosa. Bastante buena para repetir sin duda alguna.

500ml can from Ales by Mail. BBE 02/11/17. Pours cloudy orange with a smooth white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, juicy notes, grass, pine, citrus, caramely malts and mango. Taste is sweetish, tropical fruity and juicy with some pine, grass, citrus, caramely malts and chewy notes. Finish is caramely malty, slightly stuffy and juicy tropical fruity with some grass, pine, citrus and mango. Okay, but slightly too malty and stuffy for a NEIPA.
