A kettle sour: if you haven't had this beer, then yes, it really does taste like tzatziki. Cucumbers, yoghurt, mint, ouzo (no garlic, that would be weird). Delicious and strange

On tap at The Picaddilly Tap, Manchester, Thursday 30th March 2017 Pours light silvery gold. Woah this is a weird beer, a little dusty hop, old fusty wardrobe, tart, creamy, and walnuts that are a. old and past their BBC. Nope too weird for me, . A4 A3 T2 P1 Ov7 1.7

Hazy pale blond colour with no head. Aroma has peas and toasted corn. Flavour is very sharp and has some vegetable notes. Perhaps cucumber. The aftertaste certainly reminds me of tzatziki so the experiment works but I just don’t like it.

Bottle from Beer Gonzo, Coventry. Golden colour with a thin evaporating head. Aroma is mint, cucumber and yes yoghurt. I guess that’s what you’d expect from a beer called Tzatziki. Not particularly sour, not particularly nice.

On tap at Hanging Bat, pours a murky gold with some frothy, white head. Nose has lemon, yogurt, dill, a little spoiled milk, some green mint too. Flavor is tart with lemon, yogurt, cucumber, a little briny. Tart but drinkable.

Wow, this is a great beer, but incredibly strange--yoghurt, cucumber & mint are surprisingly clear!
