Hazy red pour, with a light pink head.
Aroma of artificial berries, and sweet almost aspertame like sugars. Light body, fizzy carb. Sweet, almost cloying finish with a slight tart edge, meh. The artificial barry flavor turns me right off.

A hazed burgundy red ale with a thin white head. In aroma, nice fragrant raspberry jam with light acidity, very smooth. In mouth, a nice fruity malt with raspberry jam, light tartness, refreshing. On tap at Ottawa location.

Enjoyed with PaleAleRider at the Ottawa brewpub. Pours a light hazy reddish colour with an orange hue, creamy lacing and average retention. Yeasty nose with some good sourness from the raspberry tartiness. Fruity background with Belgian Ale yeast. The taste is mild with hardly any sourness that was found in the nose. Watery raspberry, not even sweet. Slight tart, but mostly wet mouthfeel. Great smelling fruit beer with a little too light in the flavour department. Still, refreshing for summer.
