Aroma: Citrus, orange, grapefruit with some malted notes of biscuit, cereal and grain. Subtle meat notes and also ether. Average complexity and power. Appearance: Copper / Amber with a lot of yeast residue. Very hazy and muddy. Off white head is average, creamy and long lasting with an average lacing. Taste: Very hoppy attack with strong orange notes. Strong bitterness including zesty oranges and conifer. Finish is long lasting. Round texture with a lot of body. Flavors are leaving all space to bitterness. And that ether note coming back all the time is a bit annoying. A lot of bitterness, strong hops, but missing a bit of flavor complexity.

Bouteille 341ml.

A hazed amber imperial IPA with a thin off white head. In aroma, intense piney hops with citrus notes, biscuit notes, nice and well balanced. In mouth, biscuit malt with loads of floral hops, oily and resinous, catnip, very classic. On tap at Vices et Versa, Nov. 3 2012.
