out of all the molson products this one is the most drinkable. It’s actually a beer, not beer flavoured water. there is actually some hops in there....not much, but if you look hard enough you can find a little. still mediocre though.

500ml can purchased at Place Bell Arena in Laval, Quebec enjoyed during the LCD Soundsystem concert. The pour is clear golden yellow with carbonation bubbles. The aroma is grainy malt, a bit of generic sweetness. The taste is cereal grain malt, mildly artificial sweetness that has an odd bite to it. As the beer warmed, bit of a watery character. The palate is highly carbonated, light to medium bodied with a sweet watery finish. Small step up from macro lager.

From old tasting notes. Deep yellow gold color. Sweet malt nose with a touch of fruitiness. Good sweet malt flavor has a light graininess. Good hop balance.

Bottle @ home tossed via courtesy of BlackIPA. Tasted during the Pussypete presents Molson/Labatt Grand Tasting 2013 in my parent’s basement. Cheers! Pours a clear golden yellow appearance with a creamy white head. Grape drank, cotton candy, a touch spicy hoppy. Slightly metallic, light cracker, lemon flavor with a slightly bigger body than a typical macro. Not too hard to drink but I’d definitely take Molson Golden over this.
