Can from the brewery. Jet black pour, with a large mocha head. Solid oak notes, sweet caramel and cocoa, burnt coffee, and some light whiskey. Flavour is burnt soy, sliky, slightly bitter cocoa, and lots of dark, burnt roasty malts with more coffee. The cocoa really comes thriugh as it warms and the oak, and whiskey flavours also become more pronounced. A real sipper, silky, and soft, medium bitter and loads of cocoa and oak.

ABV: 9.2%. Clear dark dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dusty, dark malt, roasted - coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, dusty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, roasted - coffee, hoppy - malt and hop bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20200111]

47,3 cl can @ NISBWG ’20. Canned 19.01.2019 Aroma is mild with salty licorice. Flavour has chocolate, liquor, alcohol, some salty licorice and herbal tones. Lingering saltiness in the finish. Nice.

Can @ Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich bitter hops, roast malt, chocolate, caramel, coffee and has a nice long bitter finish.

Can at home. Pours black, nose is pine, roasted malts, dark chocolate, a bit of funk, taste is similar, quite bitter, sweet, quite reminiscent of a black ipa tbh.
