Octopils is our flagship Italian pilsner, dry-hopped with Hallertauer Tradition and Saphir hops from our favourite German hop farm. The cold-fermenting lager yeast provides a perfectly clean and neutral palette for the German malts and hops to shine, delivering delicate notes of toasted bread and mild citrus fruit. The moderate bitterness and low ABV provide a refreshing balance which makes it all too easy to go back for a second pint.

Can. Pours clear pale golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of malt and grass, with touches of yeast and hops. Bitter flavour of hops, with grassy notes and touches of yeast and malt. Bitter and estery aftertasten with acidic touches. Well-balanced and rather decent.

Can, 5.1%. Grass and hay aroma at first, turning fruity and sweet. Almost clear straw yellow colour. Big stable frothy white head. The flavour is nicely malty with a touch of butter and chalk. All in good balance. The bitterness is late and not very high, but sufficient.

Can 44 cl. Pours a hazy yellow with a creamy and lacing, white head. Malty nose with a discreet, hoppy touch. Medium body, very soft on the palate, malty yes, but not in a sticky, sweet way with some almost perfumy hops. Pleasant bitterness. Nice. 161219

On tap at Amager Bryggen and on can later. Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Malty aroma of bread and fresh grain with herbal and spicy hops and a touch of DMS. Sweetish malty flavour with big herbal and spicy hops and a quite bitter finish. It definitely delivers!
