ABV: 6.7%. Clear dark red brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, caramel, sweet malt, brown sugar - muscovado sugar, moderate yeasty, belgian yeast, dark fruit, sweet yeast, light anise seed - licorice. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, brown sugar - muscovado sugar, sweet yeast, dark fruit, belgian yeast, çaramel, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20191102]

Bottle @ Home. Pours very dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, licorice, light spice, cinnamon, little sweet citrus. Flavor is sweet, light bitter, roast malt, caramel, light coffee, licorice, orangepeel, spice, light alcohol. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet light bitter finish with a bit of warming alcohol. 031119

Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark red amber colour. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.
