Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, caramel, sweet malt, brown sugar - muscovado sugar, moderate yeasty, belgian yeast, dark fruit, sweet yeast, light anise seed - licorice. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, brown sugar - muscovado sugar, sweet yeast, dark fruit, belgian yeast, çaramel, dark malt. Bottle @ Home. Pours very dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, licorice, light spice, cinnamon, little sweet citrus. Flavor is sweet, light bitter, roast malt, caramel, light coffee, licorice, orangepeel, spice, light alcohol. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet light bitter finish with a bit of warming alcohol. 031119

Bottle @Højbjerg Tasting. Cloudy, very dark red brown. Mild aroma, malt, light licorice. Malty flavour, some licorice, light roast, light spice.

Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark red amber colour. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting. Huge head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, caramel, licorice, hops and has a nice roasty finish.
