Bottle kindly shared by MisoW many thanks. Very dark brown color with medium beige head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt, dark chocolate. Very sweet taste with caramel, roasted malt, coffee.

Bottle at a tasting. Rich roasty maltiness, slightly burnt, loads of chocolate, light caramel. Very nicely balanced, very tasty and very good.

Bottle shared. Black with a ring tan head. Aroma of roast, toffee, licorice and sweet malt. Flavour is light heavy sweet. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. [16/08/2016]

Bottled@PBF XI. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some alcohol, sweet malts and toffee with some ripe fruits. Flavour is quite similar with a quite creamy palate to it. Nice toffee, alcohol and liquorice in the finish and aftertaste.

33cl bottle @PBF XI. Poured black color with a thin brown head. Very smooth stuff. Milk, chocolate, roasted malt. Pleasant. Flavor has milk chocolate, lactose, roasted malt. Good drinkability.

Bottle sample @ Haand fest ’16, Drammen. Shared with the Norwegian tasting crew. Brune foncée, dorée au verre laissant un col léger blanc-cassé. Arôme met de suite l’accent sur le lactose avec le rétro malt caramel, grillé perçant plus en retrait, petite note rappelant les céréales. Palais est malté, petite douceur ajoutée par le lactose qui au fini commence à être un peu surfaite. Amertume perce ajoutant une fine balance houblonnée plutôt fleuri et fruité noble mais qui reste cependant en retrait par rapport à la masse maltée. Un style assez compliqué pour arriver à la bonne balance de lactose qui fini souvent par être trop percutante.
