Pre-Tasting @Avenir. 2018 Edition with 9.6%. Very nice dark coffee with a well balanced dark chocolate flav. Nice dry-coffee finish.

Huge rocky tan head stayed on a thick black body. Heavy malt, coffee & demerara aroma. Full bodied, creamy & almost chewy over the tongue with a cloying back. Syrup, malt, brown sugar, spices, pepper, lactose, coffee & berry tastes with a spicy chilli finish. Amazing!

On tap at Biererei Bar, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma brings out loving lactose, some coffee, and medium roast. Flavour is quite bold, with lots of coffee, gentle lactose, and light roast. Gently sweet, with the coffee and lactose blending decently together. Not the most cohesive or elegant impie, but it's solid nonetheless.
