Borefts 2024. A black beer with a tan lacing. Aroma of sweet chocolate, candies, caramel. Taste of bourbon, toffee, strong dark malt, candies.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: nice, good roast, some alcohol, lots of chocolate, earthy, caramel, sweet impression, a bit nutty, some hazelnuts, hint of pistachio. MF: soft to no carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet and sugary start, alcohol, chocolate, caramel, vanilla notes, pretty sweet. Aftertaste: a bit malty, some coffee, alcohol, nutty, hazelnuts, earthy, bitter finish, more alcohol.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours black and syrupy thick leaving oily curtains, tiny, rough, brown head. Surprisingly faint aroma, only slight, sweet roast. Rich, sweet, roasty body but also a very unpleasant glue note as can typically be found in a barrel aging gone wrong. The thing just is, that this has not been barrel aged! Really odd. Unclean and flawed. 120323

Bottle @ Man United - Arsenal. 50cl. Pours pitch Black with a small head on top. Massively Sweet. Vanilla, smoke, coffee, cocoa and lactose. Viscious and oily slick mouthfeel. Warming alcohol.

--Keg at Fanø Bryghus, Fanø. -- Black, beige head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and vanilla. Sweet with full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Treacle and chocolate, some honey. Mildly warming mid bitter finish.

Tap@Skaal - black with a tan head. Dark sweet and roasted malty with lots of opulent chocolate, some caramel and toffee sweetness, light ashy roast, full creamy bodied, vanilla sweetness into the lingering dark malty close. Lovely.

ABV: 10.1%. Clear dark black brown colour with a average, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, cocoa, chocolate - vanilla, wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, dark malt, chocolate, cocoa, chocolate - vanilla, alcohol, wood. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20191101]
