Litre plastic bottle (originally cask), drank at home on 27th November 2024. Poured three times into a Hoegaarden Grand Cru stemmed tulip glass. Wispy beige head on a red body, clean and clear. Nice blend of spiced fruits and maltiness. Really enjoyed it and glad I grabbed a litre!

On tap at Beeropolis, Burton on Trent (not yet listed on RateBeer). Pours a murky chestnut with minimal white head. Some autumn fruits in the aroma. Redcurrants and applies to the fore in the mouth, with caramel lurking underneath. After a while traces of malts, ginger and other spices come through to enhance the flavour. Not really by cup of tea, but it’s OK.

330ml can as part of a delivery from Hops & Dots. Brown/amber and hazy with an off-white/beige head and a little bit of lacing. Malty, resinous aroma with white chocolate, caramel and berry character. Sweet taste with a fair bit of bitterness at the finish. A little too bitter in the finish but it still works. I do like these kinds of beers so maybe it's an overrated but for me it was solid.
