Bottled. Clear golden, mid sized head. Doughy nose. Mid sweet with light to medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Doughy with slight grass. Low bitterness.

50cl bottle from SuperAlko, Ainaži. Pours clear golden with a white head. Grainy aroma with mild notes of cooked vegetables and hay. Sweet and grainy and rather boring, but drinkable.

500ml bottle as Tanheiser Papas at 4.2% ABV. Discribed on the label as Klassisches Helles. Appearance: Clear deep gold with a one finger tall off-white frothy head of medium retention. Aroma: Beans, sulphur, butterscotchm grass, grain. Taste: Light to medium sweet. beans, butterscotch, grass, less sulphur. Low bitterness. Mouth feel: Medium body, soft to average carbonation. Summary: Very far from being a Helles. Pretty ugly to be honest.

330ml bottle as Tenhaiser Papas. Pours clear gold with a small white head. Aroma is cardboard, wet grain and sulphur. Taste is medium sweet, wet grain, malt. Light bitter finish. Bad.

On tap at Ilguzeem stall in Centraltirgus, Riga Pours a pale amber with a small transient white head, and is opaque with visible sediment. Nose unremarkable, initial mouthfeel is sharply lemon, but this soon evaporates. Secondary flavours like grass, grapefuit and honey start to come through. Only weakly carbonated – almost flat. In short a typical Sencu beer, light and swiggable.

28/7/2018. Bottle at Højbjerg tasting. Pours golden with a small and quickly dissipating head. Aroma of caramel, malt, hops, fruit and boiled cabbage. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness and sour. Moderate body, oily texture, average carbonation. Not keen.

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting 28 July. Pours hazy amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of veggies and malt, with estery notes. Sweetish, veggielike flavour with estery notes and mild hints of malt and hops. Estery and veggielike aftertaste. I hate veggies!
