getrunken im Frühling 2018
Wie der Name (cz.: chroust = dt.: Maikäfer) der Brauerei, ist auch das Logo ein Comic-Maikäfer, der in seinem Labor mit chemischen Substanzen experimentiert. Eine klassische moderne Craftbrauerei nach US-amerikanischen Vorbild und dementsprechend kreativen, manchmal übertriebenen Biersorten. Das Kürzel NENAIPA steht für "New England North American India Pale Ale", also kein alltägliches Bier. Es ist auf jeden Fall ein interessantes Bier mit einer deutlichen Hopfenbittere nach amerikanischen Aromahopfen. Dadurch ist es nicht besonders süffig, was aber viele malz-affine Tschechen abschrecken könnte. Ein Bier, das man gerne einmal kostet, aber wohl kein Dauerbrenner wird.

Bottle from Salón piva apríl 2018. Nice New England offering explosion of citruses. Almost feels like a grapefruit juice, with hops. Very good and tasty.

Tap at Salon piva 4/2018. Hopy aroma, citrus fruit, resin, light grassy notes. Hazy yellow color, creamy white head. Tastes the same as aroma, light sweet, medium bitter. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation and dry hopy bitter finish. Good.

Tap at Salon piva. Hops centered, juicy, lots of exotic citrusy and resiny flavours. Moderate body, moderate bitterness. Easy drinking, tasty. Quite good.

0,1l from tap at Salon Piva, Bratislava. dark yellow cloudy color, small white head. smells of passion fruit, citric, musty, peppery, milky. ok but bit weird smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of passion fruit, mango, pines, oats, light lychee, peppery, bit grassy. finishes light bitter with notes of passion fruit, mango and some oats. rather nice taste, great balance, smell was weird. overall good one. 6, 4, 7, 4, 14

0.75l bottle from beergeek bottleshop. Hazy orange with high white head, good retention. Aroma: quite dry, pomelo, earthy notes, pine, herbal notes. Taste: juicy, tangerine, resin, earthy, slightly peppery. Medium body, moderate carbonation, moderate bitterness. Drinkable, nicely dry, hoppy, hazy as it gets, well done.

Tap @20 PIP Craft Beer Pub. Cloudy yellow, white froth. Peachy aroma, grapefruit and pine. Citrusy flavour, pale malt, lemon, grapefruit, peach. Lasting bitterness.

Draught at Dno pytle. Hazy, straw colored. AROMA- very hoppy, no fruit, just floral tones. FLAVOR- dry, really bitter, very hoppy, herbs, white grapefruit. Medium bodied.
Heavily overhopped. Don't like it.
