Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted, some alcohol, dried fruits and mild peaty tones. Flavour is chocolate, whisky, mild peat with some smoked wet wooden tones. Actually quite pleasantly balanced, even though alcohol does show a bit much in the finish.

500 ml bottle, from Hos Walter, Ebeltoft. ABV is 10.5%. Pitch black colour, large tan head. Aroma of roast malts, smoked malts and whisky, hints of dark chocolate, unsweetened liquorice and coffee. The flavour is not too sweet, distinct notes of smoke and whisky. Liquorice, more smoke and bittering hops in the finish.

Svart med høyt lys brunt skum. Lukter noe røkt trevirke, engelsk lakris og julmust. Fyldig. Smaker noe salt lakris, mørk sjokolade og søtlig sviske. Lang.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear brown with a reddish tint and a beige head. Peated smoke aroma. Medium body, extremely metallic, extremely sour and infected with a peaty touch. Totally fucked up and horrible. How to infect a beer supposedly this strong beats me. Best before 2035 - what a joke. 060717
