KØLF 070417. Golden color with an off-white head. Aroma is black current, pine. Flavor is black current, pine, hop, malt, grapefruit. Medium body. Strange beer.

Bottle at home. Pours a hazy dark orange colour with a light beige head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, grass and apricots. More grassy hops in the flavour along with pine, grapefruit and peaches. A little dry in the end. Has a slick mouthfeel, medium body and a medium to heavy bitterness. Hoppy beer with fruits in the background.

Bottle. Slightly unclear golden body with a decent, lacing off-white head. Not much aroma here, some wood and hint of fruit. Flavor is also a bit in the middle of something, pale malt and weak general fruit with some acidity. Medium body and a bit short in aftertaste as well.

Flaske (bb.17.11.17) fra Vinmonopolet Verksgata, hjemme: uklar rødlig kobber med flott skum som varer. Her hadde jeg forventet solbær i godt samspill med friske humletoner (tropiske frukter, grapefrukt osv) og en god maltkropp, men i stedet finner jeg bare en besk ufriskhet sammen noe metallisk og medisinalt. Ubalansert og usjarmerende. Not good at all.

Taste is slightly dry and harsh grassy, weeds, harsh grass, minerals, bark, medicine, heather, yeast, hay, paper, fruit stones, berry skin. Medium bitterness, harsh medical mouthfeel. Meh!

0.5l bottle from an unreadable batch, but BFF 17.11.2017. Smells quite a lot just poured in the glass this. Fruity, a little metallic and a little, in lack of a better word, old. Looks nice with a mild cloudy really golden color colored body and on the top, a big lasting and lacing just off-white head. Smells more like a lager with a decent fruity amount of hops. Tastes kinda decent I guess Lots of bitterness, well balanced though. It also tastes a little old this. Mild metallic, some battery and lots of medical tones. Paracet. It has a nice oily texture in the mouth and it's just below average on the carbonation. No traces of any black currants though. Not a personal favorite this one unfortunately. 03.02.2017

Flaske 500ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Sentrum. Delt med Bjørn Olav i heimen 24 Jan 16. Gylden. Høyt luftig skum. Lett maltaroma. Smaken tørre bær. Kjedelig.

Medium offwhite head. Hazy still pale amber body. Fruity funky aroma with syrupy notes. Dry resiny fruity taste with mineraly wooden notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish resiny fruity aftertaste with wooden blackberry notes. Lingering dusty floral notes. Nice, drinkable, full of flavour. (0.33l draft at Håndverkerstuene, Oslo.)
